Etawah – Local cricketer Devansh Chaturvedi, son of Kapil Chaturvedi, has made history by being selected for the Uttar Pradesh under-19 team for the prestigious Cooch Behar Trophy. This tournament is renowned as India’s first-class domestic competition for under-19 players. Remarkably, no child from Etawah has been selected for this level in the last two to three decades.
Devansh, a left-arm chinaman six-spinner residing in Mohalla Kunj, has sparked a wave of excitement and pride among local cricket enthusiasts and players. The Uttar Pradesh team is set to play its opening match against Madhya Pradesh on November 6 in Bareilly.
